Gavin Alexander Hammon has worked internationally since attending the University of Cape Town, where he focused his attention on Theatre Arts. Born in Munich, Germany of South African parents, Gavin’s early years were spent in France. From there he & his sibling attended Loretto, a boarding school in Scotland, where he excelled in sports that included Soccer, Squash, Tennis, Rugby, Field Hockey & Cricket. Playing in trials for Scottish Schools Rugby, and winning the British Fives Championship.
Just finished working on FBI Most Wanted - playing an ex South African mercenary that was dishonorably discharged due to unsavory practices. In 2019/20 completed filming Given Life, an indie thriller feature film as lead character Adrien Medens, a surgeon who does everything in his power to save his daughter. Best known for his roles as CIA Agent Conover in Blindspot, International business man Reed Wagner on One Life To Live, French Mercenary Devlin on General Hospital and French drug dealer Laurent on Younger. Gavin has appeared in numerous TV, Indie films, and commercials. In 2018 he co-wrote, produced and directed his first short “Waiting for Lichtenstein” which was accepted into the New Filmakers Festival in NYC, Katra Film Festival Brooklyn and Artists and Beers Festival 2019.
He currently resides in NYC, and is the proud & devoted father to a beautiful daughter.
